I'm Rufflin'

Burgundy is one of my all-time favourite colours. It is rich, classic and sophisticated. It's a cross between purple and red and just matches so well with many other hues. I just can't get enough of this shade in my closet. This ruffle-cuff sweater is an amazing layering piece. It is light and not too thick, so fits well over a blouse. The ruffle detailing at the cuffs adds just the right touch of fun and whimsy. I paired it with a navy/burgundy plaid shirt, distressed denim and burgundy booties and accessories. I feel like the top of the look is very preppy, while the bottom half adds some edginess. Who says you have to fit in a certain style box? I say mix things up, it keeps people guessing!
