Less layering means simpler outfits come summer. I welcome the change with open arms because pared down outfits just look and feel lighter. Definitely a plus in the hot summer sun! This little green dress is the perfect cotton dress to wear for pretty much any occasion: from picnic, to wedding and everything in between. I love the sashes at the waist that can be tied a bunch of different ways! I kept things casual today with straw accessories and simple white flats. An intricate braided updo is also part of my warm-weather strategies. No need to worry about the wind or having hair stick to the back of your neck in the heat.
