Velvet Trimmings!

I don't know about you, but I sure love incorporating velvet in my festive looks and it is very heavily featured in today's outfit! The obvious piece is the evergreen velvet midi skirt. I can't tell you just how much I love this skirt! It's warm, luxurious, comfortable, soft and catches the light so perfectly with every movement. It sure makes me want to twirl! I paired it with a basic black turtleneck and layered a plaid quilted vest over top. The vest has a beautiful velvet trim that makes it look way more high end than it really is. I like when I get the look for less! The final velvet touch is the black bow hair tie! It's very subtle, but looks so cute and festive! Throw in polka dot tights and more bows as earrings and the holiday look is complete! Seeing as it was snowing today, I decided to wear my red beret and very festive plaid scarf to spice up my dreary black coat. Just spreading a little cheer wherever I go!
