My mom, her friend, my sister and I went to the Roch Voisine concert last weekend. We grew up with his CDs playing on repeat so it was a real treat for us girls to go to his show! The occasions for girls' nights are few and far between so we like to buy show tickets as a reason to plan an outing. My mom had heard he'd be in town and told me to buy four tickets. That day, we had no idea who the other tickets would be for, ha ha! But we figured it would be wise to get tickets first and figure out the rest later. It turned out perfectly! I mean, he was in town for one night only, so it was the right decision.
I wanted to wear something comfortable, practical and weather appropriate. Not an easy feat early spring. The forecast was calling for rain... On the day of, it turned out we missed the rain, but there were strong winds. I figured a long dress, blazer and patent shoes would work for all eventualities. We had such a great blast! It feels good to spend quality time with my mom and sister.
