My husband and I went for a little day trip a couple weekends ago. We decided to hit up our favourite little town - Merrickville. We hadn't been in a couple years, so we were overdue. The weather was a bit chilly and overcast, so not ideal but we decided to venture out either way. We got lucky and didn't get rained on. Also, turns out that it was good timing because the town was not busy, we pretty much had the place to ourselves! We had the dog along too because most shops are dog-friendly. She was fed treats almost everywhere we went! I decided to go for the cute picnic look in my red gingham dress with cherry accessories and white cardigan. I felt so darling in this outfit and find the styling was giving off retro vibes. Totally loving that!
