The story this outfit would tell if it could. This is what I wore to go see King Charles III and Queen Camilla in Canada at the end of May. It's always hard to figure out what to wear when you could potentially meet royalty. Another big element to factor in is the weather and standing in the crowd for long periods of time. I need to look put together enough to make a good impression, yet comfortable enough to make it through the event. This is a hard balance to strike! I ended up with a Nap Dress. Who's surprised? I opted for my pink heart print because of the patriotic red and white colour scheme. However, I didn't want to be too on the nose so I added a bright pink cardigan. A bold colour attracts attention in the crowd (hopefully)! I finished off with simple yet classic pearl earrings and my signature hair bow. At the last minute, I decided to add my maple leaf brooch and it was the best decision, a real crowd-pleaser! I finished off with white sneakers for comfort and a cross-body purse of the essentials. Other than for the blazing sun, I fared pretty well with my royal watching outfit!
