As tradition goes, we gathered as a family for Thanksgiving. We decided to go see my parents for the holiday and saw most of the rest of the family, too. Which is the best, really! It's hard to find the time to coordinate and all get together in the same place, at the same time, so we really cherish the moments when they do line up. I've always loved growing up in a big family with many siblings, and now we add the partners and kids in the mix for an even bigger gang. This time of year is also so perfect in Northern Ontario, it's really peak fall colours and vibes. We ate turkey, the children are giggling and playing, and we're just having a great time all around. Eat, laugh, love, right? My pumpkin sweater with my cognac gingham dress and all the brown bits was the perfect country Thanksgiving look. Cozy comfort was what the occasion called for.
