Gingham season is upon us and it's time to pull out all of the checked things! I'm also bringing out some cheery yellow bits and bobs to brighten my looks. I mean, is there anything more quintessentially springlike than a pair of yellow rubber boots? Bring on the April showers, I'm ready! I've decided to layer up with a striped sweater for some print-mixing and added a yellow banana enamel pin because, why not? Honestly, any colour could be added to this basic white and navy look that can be worn pretty much all year round. A pop of red would be fun, some baby pink would soften it, some light blue to keep with the monochromatic vibe or some yellow to make it cheery! A solid basic outfit makes the perfect building block for a look; just change up the accessories to keep it fresh.
