Preppy Plus Side

With September just around the corner, I'm starting to feel those back-to-school vibes! That might have something to do with the fact I work in an educational institution... Either way, I always get a little excited when school starts up again. Maybe it's because it's a sure sign that fall is on its way, or it has something to do with being a great excuse to get some new clothes. Perhaps it's a bit of column A and a bit of column B.

My look today is another red, white and blue one, but the sneakers and button down shirt, paired with the gingham pants and bandana scarf, is super preppy and perfect for strolling the school hallways. My favourite part about back-to-school though is that I don't actually have to go to school! I think that makes this time of year even more enjoyable, I get the fuzzy feeling and the shopping perks without the anxiety of summer coming to an end. This is definitely a plus of being an adult.
