ONE // Velma Bows
By now, I have pretty much every bow available on Grace & Grandeur, or at least every colour and style. However, I can't resist new styles and fabrics... The spring launch was all limited edition floral fabric bows. They came in the larger Sandy bow and smaller Velma. Both styles came in unique patterns and there was quite the selection. Each print was as good as the next so narrowing down my favourites was hard! I decided to get a few Velma bows because I don't have many smaller options and think they'll be more versatile. I ended up with a Coral Floral, a Green Floral, a Tiffany Blue & Cream Floral, and a Celadon Floral. They are all perfection and will be great additions to my spring/summer line-up!
TWO // Tiered Serving Platter
I've been wanting a tiered serving platter of some sort for a while now. We all know I'm a big fan of afternoon tea and love the way the tiny treats are displayed by category on a tiered serving platter. It's so fancy, ha ha! I also remember my grandma and aunts using theirs during holidays and big family meals to serve appetizers and desserts. I've always liked how it presents food in an appealing way while using minimal real estate on the table. I plan on using my new tiered serving platter in a similar fashion. The major downside of this type of platter is the storage. For that reason, I knew I wanted one that could be taken apart and stored flat. Luckily, I found this gem at the dollar store (the very last place I thought I'd find this)! I love the stone platters with silver hardware. The materials match our kitchen perfectly, I really couldn't have found a better option! Moral of the story, don't overlook your dollar stores!
THREE // Fox Stuffed Animal
Years ago, when we got a custom crochet lamb made for our nephew, we unknowingly started a family tradition. Since then, we've always had a custom crochet critter made for each of our family and friends' babies. We always try to find a personal link with the choice of animal. It had been a little while since we'd had to order one, but the opportunity presented itself again. We got this adorable little fox for our nephew on the way. I can't get over just how cute this one is! I mean, the oversized head is the most adorable thing. I squealed when I opened the package! It's always hard to actually gift them because they are always so adorable. Hopefully, the little guy will like his new stuffy!
FOUR // Workout Skorts
When I find something I like, I get it in every colour. For a few years now, I've been a fan of the Old Navy workout skorts. They are cute, functional and easy to wear. They have become my summer weekend uniform of sorts. Naturally, I had to add a couple more colours to my rotation for the upcoming season. I opted for a navy (how did I not already have a navy?) and the turquoise. I'm a big fan of the tiered double ruffle in the back! While I love wearing these to work out, clean and do yardwork, I also find them to be great swimsuit cover-ups! Just pop this over a one-piece swimsuit and you're all set for getting to and from the beach or the water park. Easy peasy!
FIVE // And Just Like That - Season 3
The trailer for season 3 of And Just Like That dropped this week. Is the show as good as Sex and the City. Not so much, but I'm still enjoying this series even if it's just for the nostalgia and familiar characters. Oh, the fashion is still very much a mainstay of this show, so that alone makes it worth my while! We'll only have to wait until May 29 for the premiere of the 12-episode season. I'm looking forward to having a show to watch during the summer. Bring on the girl brunches and cosmos, I'm ready!
