Jumping for Pastels

Jumpsuits are up there with dresses in my book. They are basically a more practical option to wear in lieu of a dress, especially on a windy day. They are just as versatile and can be dressed up or down. They also work well as layering pieces. Now, the one disadvantage (and it's a major one) is having to basically strip to use the restroom. Not exactly fun. A trick I like to use is to simply wear a nude camisole underneath your jumpsuit. That way, when you need to remove the jumpsuit, you won't feel completely exposed. This trick is also great for adding coverage to an open-back style and make it work friendly. Or you could simply wear a cardigan like I am here. There are options!

Today's outfit is actually a cute open-back style with tie detail and I paired the baby blue with powder pink accessories and a white bag. I like the softness of the colour palette. While this look would be perfect for the office, it transitions well into after-work drinks on a patio by simply removing the cardigan. I can't resist an outfit that can take you from work to play in the blink of an eye!
