Trying to come up with things to do on a long weekend during a heat wave can be a bit challenging. We ended up going to the movies because of the AC, obviously! I know what you're thinking. Why on earth would I wear jeans and layers during a heat wave? Well, the AC is usually pretty strong in the theatre and I wanted to be comfortable. I admit the walk from and to the car was brutal, but I survived! I was inspired by patriotic pride for the colour palette and naturally opted for red and white. I even took it a step further and chose a plaid shirt because sartorial dressing at this time of year is in order.
