Summer Basics

Today's look is basically comprised of all my summer wardrobe basics. Start with an eyelet lace top, add some navy gingham pants, throw on a straw boater hat, swipe a red lipstick, pin on some pompom earrings and slip into nude cork wedges. You will be perfectly summery and ready for whatever warm-weather activity awaits. Upon seeing my look this morning, my fiancé said I looked ready for drinks in the park. Not sure which park serves drinks, but it sure sounds like a good idea... The best part about these pieces is that they can be built upon and mixed and matched endlessly throughout the summer. Treat them as the building blocks for your looks and you will surely find multiple ways of wearing them. Hint, hint, these would be a perfect start to a capsule packing list!
