Day-Trip Dress

Ah wedding planning, it's quite the task! Especially when you are planning it outside of town... This just means it gives us the opportunity for more day trips! This time, we were checking out potential accommodations for our guests and had our wine tasting! I am particularly excited about the wine tasting part of the day! Without giving away too many details of our big day, I can tell you that the setting will be wine-inspired and that wine will be an integral feature of the day.

For this little day trip, I decided on a yellow gingham dress with nude flats, a white cardi and straw hat. I wanted comfortable footwear for travelling and trekking about all day. Yellow has always been one of my favourite colours (after purple, of course) and this gingham dress was the sweetest thing. Full disclaimer: it is not the best quality, but it's cute for what it is. I tried out an unknown online retailer and was left a little underwhelmed... You get what you pay for! I'll be happy if I get a couple seasons out of this one. Live and learn!
