Busted out my first cape of 2020! I can't believe it's taken me this long to wear one. I guess the whole not-leaving-the-house factor has something to do with it... Well, I did get there in the end and draped on this beautiful autumnal plaid cape and my fall wardrobe has come to life! Add in a lace top, a felt fedora and riding boots to fully tick all the fall-fashion boxes. This would be a great look for a day of exploring a quaint town (if I were doing anything of the sort these days) because a cape is so easy to throw on and off, yet is not as thick as a coat, making it the perfect choice for a fall day. Oh, how I long to go on a little day trip...
