Bring on the cozy velvet and knit pieces! Also, give me all the deep jewel tones. As much as I love a good monochromatic look, I do also love full-on colourful ones. What's great about winter is that I get to play around with a moodier colour palette. Somehow, piling on multiple colours isn't as jarring when they are deeper tones. I opted for plum and evergreen for today's look and finished it off with matching velvet pumps and painted handbag. I added a few more plum elements with the belt, necklace and lipstick. I've been on a pleated midi-skirt kick lately and I'm not mad about it. After all, that's bound to happen when it's your favourite skirt silhouette and you have one in every colour... When I love something, I really love it!
