Princess in Pink
Vintage royal style alert! Today's look was entirely inspired by this outfit worn by Diana, Princess of Wales. I quickly realized I already had all the pieces to copy this outfit in my closet. Ok, my pink gingham pants are more blush than bright pink, but I prefer the difference in hues as it creates more contrast. I swapped out the white moccasins for white sneakers and added my signature knotted headband and a cute pin. I also opted for simple pearl stud earrings to complete the looks. Even though the original outfit was worn in the 80s, I totally made it work for today with more modern pieces. Inspiration is everywhere and although I wouldn't exactly wear everything Diana once wore, I do let myself get inspired and reimagine/adapt some of her looks. Anybody else get inspired by classic icons?
