It was mild, raining and the snow was melting a lot today. It totally felt like a fall day, so I dressed as if it was! I grabbed my red tartan Nap Dress, layered an oversized sweater over it, belted it and added brown riding boots to the mix. This colour palette is closer to the warm, earth tones I tend to wear in the fall as opposed to the cooler, lighter tones I've been wearing lately. I'm actually loving it! I wasn't sure how much I'd be wearing red tartan outside of the Holiday months, but I'm liking it this way. I can really see myself wearing it quite a bit in the fall. The red works so well with warmer colours like ivory and brown. It tones it down and mellows it out. I clearly dress according to my mood and the seasons, so today's look is the perfect example! It felt like fall, so I dressed like it!
