Fall-iday Transition!

Now that Thanksgiving and Halloween have come and gone, we are entering the fall holiday transition period. Yes, I'm taking about THE holidays. I realize that it can sometimes be a little tricky to dress in November, especially in Canada. The weather can be all over the place, all the pretty leaves have fallen, the days are shorter and we are basically just waiting for the snow to arrive. I find that starting to incorporate more festive pieces into my daily outfits helps me keep my spirits up and the festive vibes alive and well. When in doubt, go for tartan. Tartans are a big part of my fall and winter wardrobe, so it's a natural fit. I decided to wear my navy tartan nap dress, but paired it with some favourite fall accessories to tone down the festiveness of it all. I started by pairing it with a long beige cardigan, added my pumpkin spice hair bow, then obviously finished with my cognac belt and booties. It's the perfect happy medium between a full-on fall outfit and a festive one.
