Still very much into my sweater vest era that started last year. I've had a grey sweater vest for the past decade, but my passion for the style really blossomed last fall. Being that I love wearing layers, sweater vests are such versatile pieces to have. Unlike a knit sweater with sleeves, the sweater vest can add visual interest in much the same way, minus the bulk. It's a win-win situation! I particularly love wearing a sweater vest with a turtleneck. It gives off that very functional meets preppy vibe. I used this formula today with my orange turtleneck and ivory vest, then paired that with my polka dot skirt. I added sheer black tights and cognac accessories to round off this seasonal outfit. While it was not my intention to dress modestly, I notice that the end result is very much modest, which brings me to say that dressing modestly can be achieved in a stylish and interesting manner.
