Here we go with some serious layering today! I've been waiting for this day to arrive and am happy it's finally cool enough to justify multiple layers. I started with a long-sleeve t-shirt under my dress, added a quilted vest over top and opted for a statement plaid coat for my outside layer. I always look forward to wearing my plaid coats this time of year. A solid coat is a classic option, but printed coats are fun to mix and match with. For example, today's outfit features both gingham and plaid. These prints work together because they are different sizes and the colours are pulled from the same palette. I accessorized with chocolate-brown boots and headband, and an orange purse. I admit this outfit can be a bit much for some, but I love everything about it!
