We've been getting an odd leaf season this year. They started changing in late September, then we got a heat wave followed by a week of rain and wind. This made all the leaves that had changed fall to the ground, leaving the trees with only the green leaves that had not yet changed. I predict we'll be getting a second wave of fall leaves to enjoy. Very odd and does not usually happen this way. Oh well, I guess it means I'll get to enjoy them for longer this year! I decided to style my leaf sweater with a burgundy skirt and matching beret in honour of leaf-peeping season. Anybody spot the tiny leaf pin on my beret?
