This is how you do shorts for the office when summer is summering. Sometimes, you just have to wear shorts to beat the heat. However, I have work shorts and play shorts. I tend to favour high-waisted, structured and paper-bag shorts for work as I find the cuts more flattering and modest. I tend to pair them with long-sleeved tops or blouses like today's lace option to keep from baring too much skin. You could also do a camisole with a cardigan or blazer to give the same effect while making it easier to remove a layer when commuting. I opted for my bold floral shorts today and accessorized with matching hair bow and shoes. It's a fun summer look, yet still work appropriate (depending on your workplace dress code, of course).
