Going for a lighter layered look today. I decided to wear my heart-print ruffle blouse and style it in a more spring-forward way. To do so, I layered it with a white sweater vest. I find this tones down the heart print while still letting the ruffle collar and puff sleeve details shine. I paired with dark wash jeans and red patent flats. I finished off with pearl accessories and a red vintage brooch. I'm loving the overall outfit - it's feminine, whimsical and a good in between season option. I only wore the flats indoors and swapped for my trusty winter boots outdoors. But I could easily see myself wearing this exact look with a trench coat when the weather warms up in a few weeks.
