I only ever realize it after the fact, but I'm still drawn to pairing purple and green - as I did in today's look. I swear this was not intentional and I only noticed when I started writing this post. I guess I subconsciously really like this pairing! I'm trying to mix some more winter pieces with lighter spring options these days, as we slowly start the transition into spring. I chose a deep purple sweater with matching velvet pumps and a houndstooth skirt. Then I added the green trench for a pop of colour and a hint of freshness to the overall look. I finished the outfit with delicate gold-toned jewelry and a beige fedora. I didn't wear as many hats this winter and am feeling inspired to do so more as we get into the next season. I am and will always be a hat girl, but in some seasons of life I tend to wear them a bit less. Like all aspects of life, one's style can ebb and flow.

Subconscious Pairing
