I'm really leaning into the Olympics this year. Maybe it's because I don't have that much else going on, or I'm just more interested. I'm not a big sports girlie, but there's a slightly more patriotic feeling about watching the games and supporting Team Canada this year. To show that support, I'm wearing one of my Olympic pins. It's a tiny thing, but wearing the merch makes me feel more involved even if just performatively. I tried to put together an outfit that revolved around the colours in the pin and landed on this colour-blocked sweater with its bold stripes. I paired said sweater with white jeans, matching burgundy shoes and a sporty bandana in my hair. Is it coming across as "Yay, team"?
