April Layers

April showers during a polar vortex call for April layers! The rain was not dampening my spirit, as I had this song lyric in my head the entire day: "I got a pocket, got a pocket full of sunshine." Hard not to be in a chirpy mood when that is on a loop in your brain... On to the look. I reached for my distressed denim and added my chartreuse ruffle sweater. I decided to add a navy Breton top underneath for extra warmth. Lace-up flats finish off this casual-Friday look perfectly! (Don't worry, I wore appropriate footwear for puddle hopping!) I felt like a kid again wearing a traditional rain coat colour, splashing away in the puddles and singin' in the rain (albeit in my head)!
