La Nuit émergente

Last Friday, I went to La Nuit émergente, which is an evening meant to showcase emerging Franco-Ontarian talent. The headliner was the Acadian band Radio Radio. The energy in the room was intense! These guys sure know how to put on a good show! Check them out here.


Now, on to what I wore. Seeing as the show was out of town, I had to come up with an outfit that was both road trip and concert appropriate. I naturally started with some distressed jeans. I then decided on my long graphic-tee with slits. (By the way, how great is the saying: "I don't need fashion, fashion needs me"?) A graphic-tee is always appropriate concert wear! I finished the look with metallic plimsolls, statement earrings and a bold lip! I was definitely comfortable on the journey there and was able to boogie the night away!
