Last weekend, I attended a surprise party for my aunt who was celebrating a milestone year. She is a very inquisitive person, so the fact we were able to pull off the surprise was a feat in itself! The party was taking place at her trailer park, one of her favourite places. I wanted to wear something practical and comfortable, but still festive. I decided on a polka dot off-the-shoulder top and high-waisted black shorts. This top is great and stays put all day! I knotted it, as the hem is longer and I felt the proportions were off with the shorts. It was a simple fix. I then decided to wear flat lace-up sandals as there was a lot of walking and standing in gravel. Add a hat and sunglasses for sun protection, and a big tote to carry the essentials, and I was ready to party! It was a fun-filled day spent with family!
