Rustic Chic

Ah, casual Fridays! The day on which it is ok to wear denim in the workplace. I decided to switch things up a bit by wearing my denim on top! I dressed down my floral pencil skirt by pairing it with my chambray shirt and a brown leather belt. I added white lace plimsolls to finish off the casual look. Adding a few low-key pieces to a more formal one helps tone down the entire outfit. I did not feel overdressed in the least, even though I was wearing a pencil skirt. Denim and sneakers are the epitome of casual dress. By combining the two, you are sure to hit those effortlessly-chic tones.
