Vacation - Casual Looks

Today's post is the last one featuring vacation looks. It's all about the casual, hanging out or touring outfits. I tried to really pack the least amount of clothing for this category because, from experience, I know that I wear these types of looks the least. I typically wear them to breakfast because I don't like going to breakfast in my swimsuit. It just feels odd to me. I was ambitious and only packed one pair of shorts on this trip. I only wear them for about an hour or so at a time, so I figured one would be enough. I brought some light wash denim shorts because they are very versatile. I only have pictures of three of the short looks, so here's the first one. I paired them with a turquoise tank top layered underneath my eyelet lace top. The pastel palette is soft and fresh. I added turquoise statement earrings and my raffia clutch and flats. Just trying to keep things easy and not too fussy on vacay. Who wants to spend hours getting ready in the humidity anyways? That is one of the best reasons I love my packing list app. I have all of my outfits planned ahead of time and just have to glimpse at my phone to figure out which one to wear. No need to empty the suitcase every time and second guess my looks. I did all the thinking beforehand!

Next up, I wore the shorts with my pink flamingo t-shirt and a fun scarf in my hair! I just had to bring this t-shirt on vacation because I don't get to wear flamingo gear all year round so I wanted to get more wear out of this shirt. The beach bag was my staple piece for the week and went everywhere with me! Not pictured are the hot pink flip flops because I took them off to walk in the sand.

Shorts: Old Navy | Tank: Garage (similar) | T-shirt: J. Crew Factory (similar) | Earrings: Claire's (similar) | Scarf: Zara (similar) | Sunglasses: (rest stop purchase) (similar) | Bag: Zara (similar)

Finally, I wore the shorts with a colourful Breton striped top and striped headband! I like mixing patterns and couldn't help put pair these two striped items to one another. Sorry, not sorry. I like the bold result and though it was perfectly fun and summery. I added a gingham clutch because I have a pattern problem, but at least I wore neutral shoes...

Shorts: Old Navy | Top: Old Navy (similar) | Sunglasses: Simons (similar) | Earrings: Banana Republic(similar) | Headband: H&M (similar) | Pouch: Banana Republic (similar) | Flats: Zara (similar)

So that's a wrap on my vacation outfits! I hope you enjoyed the colourful looks and that they managed to bring a bit of sunshine in your lives during this dreary winter weather.
