My Style in a Nutshell

If I ever had to come up with one outfit that showcases my style in a nutshell, this would be it! I mean, it has almost everything I love! Starting with the colour palette of red, white and blue: this is probably my most worn colour-combination of all time. I'm a generally very colourful person, but I always circle back to this tried and true combo. Next up: polka dots! I'm also a huge fan of printed pants and these navy dots ones are my current faves! I paired them with a simple flutter sleeve white top. White tops are abundant in my wardrobe and are really the best basic to have! Moving on to accessories. The knotted headband and enamel pins have been my recent obsession and I've been hoarding them for the past few months. They are the most prefect finishing touch to any look and are so fun to wear! I'm also wearing a bandana scarf, a staple accessory in my book. I wear them all the time in a bunch of different ways; they are definitely the MVP of accessories! A bit more subtle are the striped hoop earrings. Dots and stripes forever! The denim jacket is the best add-on in the spring time and gives any look that instant casual vibe. They are so easy to wear and I've got them in every wash... Lastly are the red shoes! I'm always up for a pop of colour and nothing pops like red. I especially have a soft spot for red footwear. So there you have it, my quintessential preppy/nautical style.
