ONE // Sunflowers
Our first sunflower bloomed and it's making me so happy! Our garden has really been a source of daily joy these last few weeks. I love puttering outside and taking stock of how everything is growing. This same sunflower has many other buds that are about to bloom and I can't wait! I can spot it clearly from inside and it's such a bright flower. It's going to look so good with them all in bloom. They really are like mini suns bursting with bright light. Leaning into the little moments of joy and finding it energizing. Hopefully, it's a hint at the beautiful colours we'll be getting this fall.
TWO // Snackle Box
I've been wanting a cute snackle box style container for a long time now. I like the idea of the divided lunchbox styles but have always found them to be very heavy when empty and difficult to clean. I randomly spotted this one the other day and it's the ideal thing for me! I love the clear lid, to see the contents. I also like that the lid fits snuggly and comes off completely for ease of cleaning. The compartment size is perfect, not too big nor too small. A bonus feature is that the middle divider comes out to create three longer compartments. The entire design is simple, lightweight and comes apart easily for cleaning. It's just the right thing for my work lunches or snacks on a day out.
THREE // Mirandolina Under the Stars
My friend invited me to a girl's night out to see Mirandolina. The play was performed outdoors in the evening, making it a truly magical experience. It was a cozy spot nestled in the corner of the park right by the river. Not only was the setting dreamy but the play was very entertaining. It was so nice to get to enjoy a traditional play and, in this one, each character was wearing a mask, making the entire performance that much more entertaining. The story itself was full of wit, banter and comedic timing. I love when a performance breaks the fourth wall and this play did just that. I also enjoyed the sounds of nature; the geese and bugs were paid actors, I swear! The group had a great time and it was such a unique thing to do, I would highly recommend the show!
FOUR // White Sunglasses
It's been a hot minute since I got some cute sunglasses. I have my good prescription pair that I wear 99% of the time, but I do love a good fashion pair once in a while to change things up. I recently fell in love with these white cat-eye frames when browsing in the mall. I love the shape and overall retro vibe, so I got them! They are giving 60s siren or Marilyn Monroe and I love that for a beachy summer look. They are also polarized, which is a big deal when boating. This means you can more clearly see in the water. My fishing husband taught me that one. So, for affordable sunglasses they are both stylish and practical. I love a good find!
FIVE // Fall Into Love
This timing is perfect! I'll now get to enjoy new fall-themed Hallmark movies to go along with my Good Witch rewatch. I love that Hallmark anticipates the seasons like I do and start early. It looks like we'll be getting a good selection of fall-themed movies bringing the total to 8.We'll see the return of Garage Sale Mysteries, get another Haunted Harmony Mysteries and even two Halloween movies! That's never happened and I'm thrilled to see Hallmark leaning into cozy season more this year. The first Fall Into Love movie will premier on August 22, 2026. Get the blankets and pumpkin spice ready and settle in to cozy season viewing.
