Lace n' Lemons
So this is an outfit I wore on my honeymoon cruise last summer, but never photographed. I liked it so much, I figured I'd wear it again and document it this time! At this time last year, I was busy planning for our cruise and figuring out my outfits and packing list. It's crazy to think about just how much travelling has changed in the past months. Never could I have imagined it. Reminiscing about our trip as the one-year mark approaches is making me that much more grateful for the experience we were fortunate to have and the memories we created. I'm so happy we took the plunge, didn't push it back and just lived in the moment. I will really cherish that experience for the rest of my life. Who knows when we'll be able to travel the same way again, if at all at this point. Not being pessimistic, but more appreciating what I was lucky enough to experience and not take it for granted. I can't imagine the disappointment some are feeling after having to cancel similar lifetime trips. Sure, it's not the end of the world, but travelling the world is a magical thing and we could all use a sprinkle of magic right about now. By rewearing an outfit I wore on such a memorable trip is putting things into perspective and giving me a chance to reflect on the good old days (even though they're not that far behind!) The whole thing is bitter sweet, a bit like the outfit details of lemons and lace.
