Today's look is brought to you by summer's token fruit: the watermelon! We've been seriously getting summer weather this past week and I was not prepared for the heat! I mean, a couple weeks ago we were in the midst of a polar vortex... I am not complaining, but I just wasn't ready for the heat to hit us so intensely. One way I cope with the heat in the summer months is by munching on refreshing fruit such as melons; my favourite being the pink watermelon! We used to eat so much of this stuff as kids and I still thoroughly enjoy the sweet snack. I was therefore inspired to dress like a watermelon by donning a pink gingham shirt, mint cardigan and carrying my watermelon purse! This outfit would be perfectly suited for a picnic in the park. I can just picture it: a pink gingham blanket, loads of watermelon slices and fluffy green pillows. Ok, now I totally have to make this happen!
