Fall is in the air and I've taken out the quilted vest, plaid, and felt hat to mark the occasion. This is a great early fall look as it's not too heavy. The days might start out cool, but they tend to quickly warm up. Forgoing a coat and opting for a quilted vest is a great way of layering without creating too much bulk or warmth. Simply shed the vest in the afternoon and you'll be good to go. I'm also wearing very fall colours to help lighter outfits work for the season. Plaid flannels are a fall-wardrobe staple and they just happen to pair very well with vests. I've got a closet full of various plaid flannels and quilted vests that I can mix and match to my heart's content! Have I mentioned how much I love fall?
