Pumpkins, layers and plaid; oh my! I take fall dressing very seriously and that involves all the cute pumpkin clothing! My husband exclaimed, "You're wearing that sweater again?" this morning when I was getting ready for the day. I replied that I only have a short window of time to wear my pumpkin stuff, so I'm getting in those wears. He followed up by informing me that pumpkins are planted in the spring and that I could therefore wear this sweater in the springtime too. I suppose he's not wrong... He also helpfully followed up that statement by telling me he wears all of his clothes all year round and doesn't have season-specific pieces. True. But I do and I enjoy dressing for the seasons which means I have more clothes (and options) than him. This is very much a case of opposites attract, ha ha! He's all function over fashion and I'm very much fashion over function (although I do like a certain level of function). So, if you ever spot me in a pumpkin sweater this spring, you'll know why!
