I tell you, a classic pencil skirt in a bold colour is a closet staple! I've gotten so much wear out of this piece it's making it worth my while! Keeping with the red theme, I paired it with a black tartan shirt and layered cable-knit sweater. The shirt/sweater combo cozies the skirt up and gives it a more casual feel. I added a bit of bling to make it festive and stuck to black opaque tights and boots to keep things grounded. This is a great office look for those colder, darker winter days when you just want to stay warm and cozy, but still look appropriate for work. It's a great outfit-formula to keep up your sleeve!
