Crimson & Gold

Ok, we now mean business! It's -20 outside today and they are calling for a snowstorm tomorrow... Winter is here! When I heard the forecast on the radio, I knew I'd have to bundle up well. My brain kicked into auto-drive and I reached for a sweater and shirt combo. This one involved lots of red (because, December). You really can't go wrong pairing a red cable-knit sweater with a buffalo plaid shirt. It's like combination heaven.

In keeping with the holiday spirit, I decided to bust out the gold polka dot pants. Yes, the polka dots are gold foil. They are kind of the perfect festive pants really, the best of both world between plain black trousers and all-out sequin ones. These pants will take you from the office, straight to the party! Throw in a gold medallion pendant and you've got one spot-on holiday look (and it's warm to boot!) Speaking of boots, the red Hunters are basically my side-kicks at the moment, so they were in on the fun too! Pack on all the winter accessories to brave the outdoors and hope not to freeze!
