In And of Its-elf!

At this point in the month, I start going a little Christmas-crazy and get a little over the top with my dressing... Maybe all those Hallmark Christmas movies start getting to me because I could seriously pass as an extra in any o them in this get-up. I am getting full-on elf vibes today and am owning the jingle out of it! Stripes, plaid, shimmer, velvet, gold: you name it, this look has it! I'd be right at home in the North Pole. I'm just missing little jingle-bell shoes...

I am making the most of wearing red while I still can as the month is quickly zooming by. We are actually hosting a réveillon (a French tradition) for a few relatives. We decided to gather up the stragglers and have a party. I don't like knowing someone was alone for Christmas, so we gathered up my sister and a couple aunts for an intimate get-together. We served up Clausmopolitans (I love a punny drink), hors d'oeuvres and, of course, tourtière! We had a few drinks, a few nibbles, opened some gifts and had a lot of good ol' family fun!
