Romantic Mint

Updating a classic, simple look for spring can be as easy as changing up the colour palette and materials. I chose to wear a basic blouse and jeans look. Instead of the usual darker denim, I opted for a fresh mint green hue. I also chose to wear a light plumetis blouse instead of the heavier cotton white button down. To keep the look light and bright, I wore my nude suede block-heel ankle-strap pumps. The suede finish is a great option for spring because it's not as shiny as patent or leather. It' gives them more of a mat finish. I topped off the look with my classic trench and simple bow earrings. This outfit had all the feminine touches and effortlessness that goes hand in hand with spring dressing! It's such a romantic season. How could it not be, with all those blooms and chirping birds? It's like a scene right out of a Disney movie!
