Lilac Lace

So we are experiencing a slight temperature drop. Nothing too alarming, but enough to wear an extra layer. I figured this was my chance to wear this cute eyelet lace top to work. I clearly can't wear it on its own but, layered over a long-sleeve tee, I can get away with it! I've made it modest by layering it. It's like fashion magic (or it can also be referred to as fashion math, it just depends on your mood!) I added cuffed girlfriend jeans and grey toe-cap flats. I figured the top was attention-grabbing enough, so I paired it with pieces that wouldn't compete for attention! I'm kind of getting those young girl/Little House on the Prairie vibes from the final look, but I can live with that! Lace is always a good idea in my book!
