Blush the Thing

I am so happy to finally get the chance to wear this turtleneck I got in the Zara sale this spring. I had it tucked away until the weather cooled down enough to bust it out. I love its blush hue and pretty pearl detailing at the cuffs. I find the pearls dress up this basic turtleneck just enough, giving it a slightly classier feel. I love it so much (and it was such a steal) that I got it in navy as well. One can never have too many basic turtlenecks for layering once the mercury drops. Especially if one has a long neck... I didn't layer it today because it wasn't that cold, just cold enough to wear one layer. I did dress it up with a pretty printed scarf and paired them with white jeans and nude flats. I find the white and nude brighten up the outfit and keep it from being too dreary. I'll get to wear all the dark colours soon enough, so I wanted to keep things light and bright. The classic trench coat is the perfect topper to any look this time of year. It's preppy and oh so effortless. A trench is a must in one's wardrobe, I can't wear mine enough!
