A Night in Paris
As mentioned in my Sunday post, I went to see the Notre-Dame de Paris musical last week. Today's post is on the look I wore that day. The show was on a Tuesday, so I had to work that day. I decided on a look that would work both for work and for the theatre. Comfort and versatility were key elements to keep in mind. I decided on dark wash jeans with black OTK boots and a black bell-sleeve sweater. (Bell sleeves for the bells of Notre-Dame ;) I kept the look simple, yet classy. Where I had a bit of fun was with the outer layer. I opted to wear a plaid cape with purple cloche hat. I even added a vintage brooch to fasten the cape because it was a windy day. The cape was not just for style. It made for a great lap blanket during the show! It was keeping me cozy and I didn't have to bother with the coat check! The show was amazing and we (mom, sister and aunt) are already talking about making it a yearly tradition!
