The next best thing to wearing dresses when it's hot out is wearing shorts. I tend to opt for dresses because I find the styling to be easier, but shorts are great too. I styled my lemon-print tie-belt shorts with a ruffle-detail sleeveless top and flat t-strap sandals. Another way to stay cool is by wearing sleeveless tops, and I like to put my hair up on the hottest of days. Today, I braided a bandana scarf right into my hairdo and love the slight retro vibe of a knotted scarf in my hair. Trying to stay stylish and cool at the same time can be a challenge... Speaking of challenges, on this particular day, I was trying to style an outfit that worked for both the office and a boating outing after work. I think I did okay!
