After the bright reds and pinks of Valentine's Day, I'm ready for a palate cleanser. I opted for a classic, preppy look. Back to my roots! A navy pleated skirt really is a closet MVP; it can easily be dressed up or down. Today's look is a bit more laid back. I paired the skirt with a classic shirt and sweater combo. A plain white shirt is also a great closet staple and can be styled so many different ways. The grey crew-neck sweater could also be considered a classic. However, mine has this cute lip print on it, making it more whimsical. I'm preppy, but also whimsical, so this outfit is very me! I finished off with classic nude tights, matching navy booties and braided a silk scarf in my hair. I love this way of wearing a scarf!
