Are there pieces in your wardrobe that are truly special to you? One of mine is this red plaid skirt my mom made me almost ten years ago now. It's the perfect red tartan print and the wrap style is classic and timeless. My mom's a great seamstress and truly has a talent for making clothing. I don't think there has ever been a time in my life during which I didn't have one of her creations in my closet. To have such unique and one-of-a-kind pieces is priceless. I make a point of wearing this skirt at least once during the festive season and today is that day! I paired my beloved skirt with an evergreen bodysuit, matching velvet bow headband and cute Christmas tree earrings. I finished off with my go-to red bow suede pumps and think I've put together a perfect festive outfit!
