Butter is Back!

I'm bringing back the butter yellow that had a moment last year. I've said it before and I'll say it again; when I like a colour, I stick with it no matter the trends. I love the colour yellow and it's hard to come by at times so I take advantage of moments when it's popular to stock up on pieces in that colour - and then I wear them for years. This Basque waist butter yellow dress I got last year is a favourite and I'm more than happy to get more wear out of it this upcoming season. I paired it with a slightly brighter yellow cardigan and think it's a fun take on monochromatic dressing. You don't see it often with yellow but I'm pleased with this combination. Because it's spring, and I am me, I added more pastels to the mix for a very spring outfit. Enter the pink accessories and the blue trench. Is it a lot? Yes. Is it a bold outfit choice? Again, yes. Does it make me happy? Totally! And that's really all that matters. I live in colour and wouldn't have it any other way.
