It's been a hot minute since I've worn a proper lilac look. I was probably inspired to style a monochromatic look from seeing all the fashion of Royal Ascot lately. Truth be told, the fashion is the only thing that interests me about that particular event and I love when my feed is full of fun, fancy and downright whimsical hats and outfits. My look is nowhere near the levels of Ascot, but I wanted to style a matchy-matchy look so settled on my lilac gingham dress and all the matching accessories. The earrings, necklace, hair bow and espadrilles are all a perfect match and I honestly live for these kinds of perfect pairings. I added a bit of contrast with the beige cardigan that also pulls from the espadrilles. It's not Ascot levels of show-stopping, but I'm loving the result just the same! You just know that if I owed a lilac straw hat, that thing would have made the look!
