This look sure is cheerful! I can't help but smile when I look at it! I know this shade of yellow doesn't work for everyone, but if it works for you, you should totally embrace it! It's bold, but fresh all at the same time! The fact that this particular dress is in a simple sheath cut keeps the focus on the colour. When a colour is this loud, a simple cut is required to balance it out. I paired it with a white bouclé jacket and nude heels for a classic, yet unexpected work look. Be brave and step out of your colour comfort-zone!

Maximum Colour

I love my maxi dresses and am thankful I'm tall enough to wear them! This one in particular is very long, that's why I wear heels with it! I decided to mash up a couple bright colours by wearing bright yellow shoes with the sea-foam green dress. I then figured I'd add a cropped white bouclé jacket to colour block the look and make it more sophisticated and appropriate for the office. I finished off the outfit with simple gold ear-jackets to pick up on the subtle golden hardware of the jacket. I felt like colourful lady who means business today!
